1.自贡市老年大学简介
自贡市老年大学创建于1986年。在市委、市政府的领导下，在市委老干部局的具体指导和社会各界的大力支持下，我们坚持老年大学的办学宗旨，走规范化的办学道路，取得了显著成绩。已建设成为了多专业、多层次、多学制的一所综合性老年大学。开设有11大类专业，40余门特色课程，较好满足了学员的学习需求。现有教学班60个，学员4400多人（多数班级每周2次课），办学规模在四川省名列前茅。办学成果丰硕，荣获全国“先进老年大学”、“老年大学校园文化建设先进单位”，四川省“老干部工作先进集体”、“老龄工作先进单位”、“市级老年大学示范校”、“A级老年大学”，自贡市“文明单位”等荣誉称号。
Brief Introduction to Zigong U3A
Zigong U3A was founded in 1986. Under the leadership of the municipal government as well as the specific guidance of the Municipal Veteran Cadres Bureau and with the strong support from all sectors of the society, we insist on the purpose of running a U3A and take the standardized school running path and have achieved remarkable results. It has been built into a multidisciplinary and multilevel comprehensive U3A of multiple academic structures. It well meets the learning needs of students by opening 11 major categories of professions and more than 40 special courses. Currently, it has 60 teaching classes and more than 4,400 students (most classes have two classes a week), and its scale of schooling is among the top in Sichuan Province. It has made abundant accomplishments and was awarded honorary titles, including “National Advanced U3A”, “Advanced Unit of U3A Campus Culture Construction”, “Sichuan Advanced Collective for Veteran Cadres’ Work”, “Advanced Unit for the Aged Work”, “City-level Model U3A”, “A-level U3A” and “Zigong Civilized Unit” and so on.
2.自贡市老年大学特色游学内容展示
自贡市位于四川省南部，是川南区域中心城市，成渝经济圈南部中心城市，享“千年盐都”，“恐龙之乡”，“南国灯城”，“美食之府”之美誉。自贡也是四川省五个主城区面积超100平方公里，人口超100万的“双百”大城市之一。
A.自贡文化
自贡文化氛围浓厚，文化馆、博物馆众多。同时，自贡民俗文化也极具特色，例如新年燃灯、提灯会、放天灯、舞龙灯、戏狮灯、闹花灯等活动，已成为自贡文化的典型代表。
B.自贡美食
自贡美食种类丰富，以鲜辣和香辣为主，代表菜色有口口脆、香辣鸭唇、麻辣兔头、跳水蛙、葱香兔等，款款都是典型的自贡风格。
自贡烹饪历经二百余年，终成川菜一派——小河帮。
C.自贡旅游
1986年，自贡市由国务院颁定为国家历史文化名城，其后又相继被批准为省级风景名胜区、国家对外开放城市和全国卫生城市。自贡依山傍水，环境优美宜人，有“千年盐都”、“恐龙之乡”、“南国灯城”之称。
（1）自贡恐龙公园
四川自贡恐龙国家地质公园于2001年被中华人民共和国国土资源部批准为首批国家地质公园，2008年2月，被联合国教科文组织批准建立世界地质公园。地质公园总面积56.6平方千米，是一个以恐龙化石遗迹、井盐开采与生产遗址、桫椤孑遗植物群落为主要保护对象的世界级地质公园。
（2）自贡自贡灯会
中国彩灯，饮誉古今；自贡灯会，久负盛名。自贡灯会荟萃了中国灯文化的风采，赢得了“天下第一灯”的美称。自贡地区的年节灯会有着悠久的历史和鲜明的特色，成为集地区民风民俗之大成的盛会佳节。
（3）自贡荣县大佛
荣县大佛位于自贡荣县县城东郊，为唐代所刻，是世界第一大释迦牟尼佛（现世佛）。荣县大佛是第六批全国重点文物保护单位名单，是国家AAAA级景区，享有“嘉州大佛雄，荣州大佛美”的美誉。
（4）自贡富顺文庙
富顺文庙位于四川省富顺县城中心，是中国保存完好、规模宏大、建筑精美的宋代建筑。在四川省所有文庙中，富顺文庙以其建筑规模、保存完好以及独特的建筑、雕刻艺术而独树一帜。

Zigong City located in the south of Sichuan province is the center city in south Sichuan region, the center city in the south of Cheng Yu Economic Circle and enjoys the reputation of “Millennium Salt Capital”, “Hometown of Dinosaurs”, “Lantern City of South China” and “City of Gastronomy”. Zigong is also one of the five major urban areas in Sichuan Province with an area exceeding 100 square kilometers and a population over 1 million.
A. Zigong Culture
Zigong has strong culture atmosphere and numerous culture centers and museums. Meanwhile, Zigong folk culture is also very distinctive, for example, the New Year’s lantern lightening, lantern festival, sky lantern releasing, dragon lantern dance, lion lantern dance, lantern show and other activities have become typical cultural representative of Zigong.
B Zigong Cuisine
Zigong cuisine is in rich varieties, and is mainly in the flavor of fresh spicy and spicy. Each and every representative dishes, including mouth crisp, spicy duck lip, spicy rabbit head, diving frog and onion fragrant rabbit etc. is of typical Zigong style.
After more than 200 years, Zigong cooking eventually became a school of Sichuan cuisine—small river gang.
C Zigong Tourism
Zigong City was awarded as national historical and cultural city by the State Council in 1986, after that it was successively approved as provincial scenic spot, national open city and national sanitary city. Zigong is surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful and agreeable environment and is called “Millennium Salt Capital”, “Hometown of Dinosaurs” and “Lantern City of South China”.
i Zigong Dinosaur Park
Zigong Dinosaur National Geo-park in Sichuan province was approved as the first national Geo-park in 2001 by the Ministry of Land and Resources of the People's Republic of China and was approved to build the World Geological Park by UNESCO in February 2008. With total area of 56.6 square kilometers, the Geo-park is a world-class geological park with dinosaur fossil ruins, well salt mining and production sites and Cyatheaceae relict plant communities as main protection objects.
ii Zigong Lantern Festival
Chinese lantern is renowned in the present and past; while Zigong Lantern Festival enjoys long-standing good reputation. Zigong Lantern Festival highlights the style of Chinese lantern culture and has won the laudatory name of “the No.1 Lantern in the World”. The New Year Lantern Festival in Zigong area has a long history and distinctive features and has become a grand gathering of regional folk customs.
iii The Giant Buddha of Zigong Rong County
The Giant Buddha of Rong County located in the eastern suburb of Rong County, Zigong City and carved in the Tang Dynasty is the world's largest Shakyamuni Buddha (Secular Buddha). The Giant Buddha is listed as the sixth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit and is the national AAAA scenic spots and enjoys the reputation of “Jiazhou Buddha Being Grand and Rongzhou Buddha Being Beautiful”.
iv Zigong Fushun Confusion Temple
Fushun Confusion Temple located in the center of Fushun County, Sichuan Province, is a well-preserved, large- scale and beautifully constructed architecture of the Song Dynasty in China. In all the Confucian temples in Sichuan province, Fushun Confucian temple is unique in its architectural scale, well-preserved and distinctive architecture and carving art.
