孔祥昆, 山东夏津人，中国书法家协会会员。曾任文化局副局长、文联主席、现为德州市青年书法协会主席、德州市书法家协会副主席，现为夏津画院院长、中国楹联协会会员、山东书协会员、经济杂志书画委员会顾问、人民美术杂志特邀顾问、清华大学刘怀勇工作室客座教授。隶书得力于石门颂之外柔内刚；草书深受舒同影响、但又博采众长、师古不泥；楷书有自家风格、大字气势傍博。深受大众喜爱。
Kong Xiangkun
Kong Xiangkun was born in Xiajin, Shandong, Member of Chinese Calligraphers Association. He once served as Deputy Director of Cultural Bureau, Chairman of Literary Federation. He is now working as Chairman of Dezhou Young Calligraphy Association, Deputy Chairman of Dezhou Calligraphers’ Association. He is also Director of Xiajin Painting Academy, Member of Chinese Couplets Association, Member of Shandong Calligraphers’ Association, Consultant of Painting and Calligraphy Commission of Economic Journal, Special Consultant of People’s Fine Art magazine, Visiting Professor of Liu Huaiyong Studio of Tsinghua University. His clerical script follows the style of Ode to Shimen which is tender in appearance but with rigid spirits. And his cursive script, though influenced by Shu Tong, borrows ideas from strong points of others with innovation. His regular script forms his own style. The characters are big and tremendous and popular with the public.
