烟台天马维拉斯老年大学Yantai Tianma Vellas U3A
1.烟台天马维拉斯老年大学简介：烟台天马维拉斯老年大学是国际老年大学协会（AIUTA）与烟台天马栈桥文化发展有限公司共同创办的首座国际化老年大学。
2015年8月，烟台天马维拉斯老年大学正式开学，来自法国、毛里求斯、加拿大等国的嘉宾代表国际老年大学协会33个成员国参加了此次开幕仪式。
学校自建立以来便成为国际老年大学协会体系中探讨老年游学的组织和平台，不断承担起沟通国内外老年大学的重担。2016-2017年间多次召开国际老年大学学术研讨会，20多个国家的老年教育专家齐聚烟台天马维拉斯老年大学，共同探讨游学的内容、标准及未来发展方向，取得了丰硕的成果。
烟台天马维拉斯老年大学还积极进行游学实践。2016年5月，烟台天马维拉斯老年大学邀请昂热老年大学一行来烟游学，得到了国外学员的一致称赞。2017年9月，烟台天马维拉斯老年大学一行在国际老年大学协会的安排下，对欧洲及北非的老年大学进行游学考察，并签署了游学合作宣言。
同时，在国际老年大学协会的支持下，烟台天马维拉斯老年大学已与16个国家的老年大学达成游学合作协议，国际老年游学版图正徐徐拉开帷幕。
烟台天马维拉斯老年大学以“老有所学、老有所乐、老有所为”为办学宗旨，在为老年学员开启晚年生活的新篇章的同时，与国际老年教育接轨，不断探索老年游学模式，成为国内创新老年教育的先驱。
1. Overview of Yantai Tianma Vellas U3A
Yantai Tianma Vellas U3A is the first international U3A co-founded by the International Association of Universities of the Third Age (AIUTA) and Yantai Tianma Pier Cultural Development Co., Ltd.
In August 2015, Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A was officially inaugurate. Guests from France, Mauritius, Canada and other countries attended the opening ceremony on behalf of the 33 member countries of the AIUTA.
Since its establishment, Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A has become the organization and platform for the discussion of senior tour study in the system of AIUTA, and has continuously assumed the tasks of communicating with the U3As at home and abroad. From 2016 to 2017, a great number of international university academic conferences were held here. Senior education experts from over 20 countries gathered at Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A to jointly discuss the contents, standards, and future development orientations of the study tours and made fruitful achievements.
Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A has also been actively working on study tours. In May 2016, as invited by Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A, a group from Angers U3A came to Yantai for study tours. And the senior students highly praised Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A. In September 2017, Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A organized an tour study to U3As in Europe and North Africa under the arrangement of the AIUTA and signed a declaration on study tour cooperation during the tour studies.
Meanwhile, under the support of the AIUTA, Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A has reached study cooperation agreements with U3As in 16 countries. And the network for international senior study tours is being gradually formed.
With “Enabling Knowledge, Joy and Achievements for the Senior Citizens”, while opening new chapters for the later life of senior students, Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A also keeps pace with international senior education. By continuous exploration of senior tour study models, it has become the pioneer in senior education innovation in China.
2.烟台天马维拉斯老年大学特色游学内容展示
A.中国传统文化
烟台天马维拉斯老年大学传统文化底蕴丰厚，设有紫砂、黑陶、普洱、泥塑等文化体验场馆，并特聘黑陶大师王宪利、泥塑大师于庆成、艺术大师纪峰、美术大师盛华厚、书画大师叶兆信、摄影大师陈卫中以及明式家具代言人苑金章等大家作为学校顾问。同时，烟台天马维拉斯老年大学还集合了明式、唐式、宋式的建筑风格。中国传统文化体验不仅为老年学员提供丰富的第二课堂资源，同时也为游学学员认识中国传统文化搭建平台。
B.海洋文化
烟台是我国著名的滨海城市，海岸线绵延狭长，沙滩金黄细软，是世界各地度假避暑的好去处。
C.仙道文化
烟台历来盛行仙道文化，从古至今，关于烟台的神话传说数不胜数。谚语：“八仙过海，各显神通”就是发生在烟台的蓬莱仙境。还有“仙山之祖”的昆嵛山曾是传说中仙人麻姑成仙处，后因被元朝成吉思汗大帝称为“神仙”丘处机在此传教布道而扬名四海。
D.美食美酒文化
烟台不仅是中国的葡萄酒之都，还是我国八大菜系之首——鲁菜的发源地。烟台是亚洲唯一的“国际葡萄葡萄酒城”，世界第一瓶出口的葡萄酒就出自烟台张裕。
同时，烟台天马维拉斯老年大学还连续举办三届国家美食美酒图书大赛，汇聚国外80多个国家的400多名外宾大咖，举办品酒会、论坛、世界美食厨房秀等活动，共享世界美食美酒盛宴。
E.著名景点
（1）金沙滩天马栈桥：位于烟台天马维拉斯老年大学北侧的万米金沙滩（国家AAAA级景区）上。天马栈桥是由烟台市民投票选出的全国首座以爱情为主题的栈桥，全长700米，向内探进四百多米，形似一个跳跃的音符，由爱情广场、万国旗海栈桥、沙滩栈道、玫瑰音乐广场、海景回圈，爱的步道，海洋之心七部分组成。是烟台目前投资最大，入海最深的海上栈桥.
（2）张裕卡斯特酒庄：张裕卡斯特酒庄是中国第一座专业化酒庄，2002年9月8日落成并开放。酒庄严格遵循国际酒庄3S（阳光、沙滩、大海）原则兴建，拥有目前国内最现代化的酒窖，集生产、旅游观光、葡萄酒科普等功能于一体。常年举办葡萄酒修学之旅、体验之旅、风情采摘节、体验购物节等特色活动，是观光、商务考察及休闲度假的好去处。
（3）蓬莱阁：位于山东省蓬莱市区西北的丹崖山上的蓬莱阁，属国家5A级旅游景区，素有人间仙境之称，传说蓬莱、瀛州、方丈是海中的三座神仙，为神仙居住的地方。八仙在蓬莱阁醉酒后，凭借各自的宝器，凌波踏浪、飘洋渡海而去，留下“八仙过海、各显其能”的美丽传说。
（4）昆嵛山：昆嵛山为烟台境内最高山，历来有「仙山之祖」美誉,是道教主流全真派圣地，横亘烟台、威海两地。主峰泰礴顶，海拔922.8米，为半岛东部最高峰。方圆百里，巍峨耸立，万仞钻天，峰峦绵延，林深谷幽，古木参天，多有清泉飞瀑，遍布文物古迹。北魏史学家崔鸿在《十六国春秋》里称昆嵛山为「海上诸山之祖」。
（5）烟台山：烟台山坐落于烟台芝罘区的北端，是烟台的标志性建筑，属国家AAAA级景区，海拔42.5米，占地45公顷。烟台山拥有亚洲现存的最大的近代领事馆建筑群。建筑群建筑风格各异，时代气息浓郁，保存完好。有亚洲现存最早的英国在其殖民地 “外廊式”建筑，有古典式、中西合璧式、英国早期公寓式等建筑，堪称近代建筑的宝库。
（6）养马岛：地处黄海之中，总面积约10平方公里，距烟台市区30公里。 岛上山光海色，秀丽如画，气候宜人，年平均气温11.8℃，素有"东方夏威夷"之美称。岛四周盛产海参、扇贝、鲍鱼、对虾、牡蛎、天鹅蛋等海产品，久负盛名。
A. Traditional Chinese Culture
Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A boasts profound traditional culture with experience-based cultural experience venues for Red Stoneware, Black Pottery, Pu'er Tea, clay sculpture, etc. It has especially recruited Black Pottery Master Wang Xianli, Clay Sculpture Master Yu Qingcheng, Art Master Jifeng, Fine Art Master Sheng Huahou, Painting and Calligraphy Master Ye Zhaoxin, Photography Master Chen Weizhong, Representative Figure of Ming-style Furniture Yuan Jinzhang and other masters as consultants of the University. Meanwhile, Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A also integrates architectural styles of Tang, Song and Ming Dynasties. Experience on traditional culture not only provides enriched second classroom resources for the senior citizens but also established a platform for students on study tours to understand traditional Chinese cultures.
B. Marine Culture
Yantai is a famous coastal city in China. It has a long and extended coastline and golden beach with fine and soft sand. It is also a preferred destination for summer vacation around the world.
C. Immortal Culture
Yantai has a long history of immortal culture. From ancient times to the present, there are countless myths and legends about Yantai. Proverb "Eight Immortals crossed the sea, each with own supernatural powers" was originated from the wonderland of Penglai. Yantai also has the Kunyu Mountain, which was regarded as the “Ancestor of the Immortal Mountains” and where the Immortal Ma Gu became the immortal. Later on, Qiu Chuji, who was called “Immortal” by Genghis Khan in the Yuan Dynasty, preached his religion here and made the place famous all over the world.
D. Food & Wine Culture
Yantai is not only the “Wine Capital” in China but also the origin of Shandong Cuisine, which is the top of the Eight Major Cuisines in China. Yantai is the only “International Wine City” in Asia and the first bottle of exported wine was just from Yantai Changyu.
Meanwhile, Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A has successively held three events of Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. Over 400 foreign guests and professionals from more than 80 countries all across the world gathered here to taste the wine, attend activities such as forum and world food kitchen show and enjoy the great time for world food and wines together.
E. Renowned Scenic Spots
(1) Golden Beach Tianma Pier: Located on the 10,000-meter long Golden Beach (National 4A Tourist Attraction) to the north of Yantai Tianma Vellas International U3A. Tianma Pier is the first pier in China with the theme of love voted by Yantai citizens. The total length of the Pier is 700 m, including a section of over 400 m over the sea. It has a shape like a dynamic musical note. The Pier consists of seven parts of Love Square, Pier of National Flags, Beach Promenade, Rose Music Square, Sea-view Ring, Love Footpath and Heart of Ocean. Presently, it is the pier with greatest investment and greatest length extended into the sea in Yantai.
(2) Chateau Changyu-Castel: Chateau Changyu-Castel is the first professional chateau in China. It was completed and opened on September 8, 2002 strictly following the 3S Principle (Sunshine, Sand and Sea) for international chateaus. Presently, it has the most modernized cellars in China and has integrated functions of production, tourism and sightseeing, scientific promotion of wine, etc. It frequently organizes wine study tours, experience-based tours, grape pick-up festivals, experience-based shopping festivals, etc. and is a great destination for sightseeing, commercial investigation and survey as well as leisure and vacation.
(3) Penglai Pavilion: Penglai Pavilion is located on the Danya Hill in the northwest of Penglai City, Shandong Province. It is a National 5A Tourist Attraction and known as the “Fairyland on Earth”. It is said that Penglai, Zhangzhou and Fangzhang were the three immortal places in the sea where the immortals lived. After drunk in the Penglai Pavilion, the Eight Immortals crossed the sea with their own magic treasures and left the beautiful legend of “Eight Immortals crossed the sea, each with own supernatural powers”.
(4) Kunyu Mountain: Kunyu Mountain is the highest mountain in Yantai. Known as the “Ancestor of the Immortal Mountains”, it’s a sacred site for the Quanzhen School, a mainstream Taoism. It spans across Yantai and Weihai. The main peak is Taibo Peak, which is 922.8 meters above sea level and is the highest peak in the eastern part of Shandong Peninsula. It covers an intensive area with lofty peaks, stretched ranges, dense forests, tranquil valleys and towering ancient trees as well as numerous clear springs, flying waterfalls, cultural relics and historic sites. Cui Hong, Historian of the North Wei Dynasty, once called Kunyu Mountain “Ancestor of Coastal Mountains” in his History of Sixteen States.
(6) Yantai Hill: As one of the landmarks in Yantai, Yantai Hill is located at the northern end of Zhifu District, Yantai and is a National 4A Tourist Attraction. It has an elevation of 42.5 m and covers an area of 45 hectares. Yantai Hill has the largest modern consulate architectural cluster preserved in Asia. The well-preserved buildings have varying styles with strong senses of times. Yantai Hill has the gallery-type buildings built by the United Kingdom in its colony with the longest history and has buildings of classical style, Chinese-foreign integrated style and early UK apartment style buildings. And it can be regarded as a treasure of modern architecture.
(6) Yangma Island: Yangma Island is located in the Yellow Sea. Covering an area of about 10 km2, it is 30 km to the downtown of Yantai. The Island has pretty mountain landscapes and sea views. The climate is admirable with annual average temperature of 11.8℃. And therefore, it has been named “Oriental Hawaii”. The Island is known for rich sea products such as sea cucumbers, scallops, abalone, shrimp, oysters and swan egg shells.
